I looked up and I saw that through the leaves of a tree, there was a star.
I also learned the downside of getting up to go and get my camera to take a picture of said star.
My sneaky golden retriever stole my rug and my pillow! It also appears that she is reading the newspaper...perhaps that is what she does when I am not around? :)

I too have a four-legged creature who likes nothing more than to take my already warmed up spot. Just this morning I was sitting on my couch in my office doing an early morning writing exercise. The tea kettle whistled in the kitchen and off I went to brew a mug of green tea. This took about five minutes total. Upon my return, my spot was taken by my dog who came from my bed upstairs to my spot on the couch. She pushed over the notebook and was snoring peacefully- what a life!
