Oh, yeah, me too!! One of the realtors in town bought an OLD downtown building & has her studio in the second (top) floor & it's got SUCH a great library - smaller, but with a ladder.
The penthouse goes on & on - she's an artist, & 'does' books - binding & other presentation . . . & is on our fall 'Art Harvest' studio tour. It's about 4 blocks from my office, & I try to convince folks to shell out the $5 that will get you into maybe 40 studios, even if you ONLY go to hers!
Wm Morris style furniture & wallpaper & fixtures, there's a pool table sized project 'desk' in one room, next to the kitchen (darling! & fit for commercial catering, if you choose - but small) & the huge (seats 12? 16??) dining room table - with baronial chairs. The library is behind the dining room. There's a ballroom (!!!) behind that - her hubby has his woodworking set up in their - they did a LOT to bring it back. Huge skylights, . . . just lovely!

I've seen this before and totally agree that if I had tons of money I would so do the same ;)
